Near the tip of Minnesota, there is a small isolated island known as Hollow Rock. Owning its name to the small hole inside it created from the many years of waves relentlessly crashing into it.

Waiting for the perfect weather conditions were paramount to creating this piece.  The fog forms when the temperature and dew-point differ by only a few degrees.  I wanted a foggy scene to help enhance the feeling of solitude.
